Delivery and lead times
London Mosaic delivers across the UK and worldwide.
To effectively plan your project, it is essential to understand our specialised services and how we deliver our products. Below, we outline key information regarding our lead times and delivery schedules.
Lead times
Our lead times only apply to the supply stage of the ordering process. Before determining lead times, we must complete the design consultancy phase, which may include layout drawing(s). The time required for this phase depends on the complexity of your design and order.
Once we finalise your design and confirm your order, the following lead times will apply as of October 2026:
| Order type | Lead time | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Sheeted tiles | 4 to 6 weeks | We hand-assemble sheets of individual tiles to ensure accurate and efficient installation. Our team creates bespoke layouts tailored to your project dimensions, supplied with diagrams. |
| Loose tiles | 1 to 2 weeks | We assemble and box individual tiles, allowing for flexible installation. These orders are typically fulfilled more quickly since they require less preparation. |
| Factory orders | 4 to 6 weeks or more | As we do not hold the complete range, we may have to order some tile types for your order from the (Winckelmans) factory. |
| Custom cut tiles | 4 to 5 weeks | Designs featuring bespoke shaped tiles. Our skilled workshop staff custom cut these tiles, or we use a waterjet cutting facility for larger orders. |
| Factory special orders | 8 to 16 weeks or more | Special orders from the (Winckelmans) factory are subject to their production schedules. |
Please note that these lead times are approximate and can be influenced by factors such as order size, design complexity, and current production schedules. We recommend contacting us directly for the most accurate timeline tailored to your project.
Longer lead time
Orders of designs with the "longer lead time" label often take more time for us to fulfil. This can be because we need to order tiles from the (Winckelmans) factory or wait on their production schedules, or because the design features bespoke shaped tiles that our workshop staff custom cut, or that we have waterjet cut for larger orders.

Parcel deliveries
We send smaller orders (up to 40 kg / approx. 1.8 m²) via our UK national parcel courier, and they usually arrive within 1 to 2 working days. Parcel deliveries are made between 9 am - 6 pm. Morning delivery (before 12 pm) is available for an additional £15. Please ask when placing your order.
- How it's packed: We carefully pack our boxes of tiles in sturdy, double-walled cardboard boxes, using recycled cardboard padding to prevent damage during transit. Boxes are kept to manageable weights, with additional protective packaging where needed. Most of our packaging is recyclable cardboard.
- How it's delivered: Parcels are delivered according to standard courier practice: they may be left at your front door, with a neighbour, or in a safe place if you specify one. A signature may be required.
Pallet deliveries
Heavier orders (up to 750 kg / approx. 35 m²) ship on a pallet via a freight carrier. Large tile orders are heavy, so it helps to know what to expect and plan accordingly. Pallet deliveries are made between 9 am - 5 pm. Morning delivery (before 12 pm) is available for an additional £15. Please ask when placing your order.
- Where it's delivered: The carrier will usually leave a pallet delivery on the pavement or roadside outside your property. Most carriers will not bring pallets onto the property unless access is clear and level. However, a carrier may be able to move pallets further onto your property with a trolley, provided access is good.
- Plan for the day: Have a tradesperson or a few extra pairs of hands on site to move the boxes off the pallet as soon as it arrives. If you're a homeowner, book delivery for a day when your builder or tile fitter is on site.
- What's not included: Carriers do not unpack pallets or carry boxes inside.
- How it's packed: Pallets are wrapped in clear plastic, then black plastic, and strapped. The tiles are packed in cardboard boxes, and where necessary with recycled cardboard padding to prevent damage.
- Weather: Pallet wrapping helps keep the contents secure and offers some protection against the elements. However, we recommend you do not leave the pallet outside in poor weather, especially heavy rain, for any length of time. If the pallet cannot be moved or unpacked immediately, make sure it is well covered. Ideally, move the boxes under cover as soon as possible.
- Keep it visible: A pallet can be a hazard to passers-by and traffic. If left on the road or pavement, clearly mark it with a cone or hazard tape.
- Disposing of the pallet: Once empty, dispose of the pallet responsibly. Most local councils collect bulky waste, and recycling centres accept pallets. You could also offer it for reuse to neighbours or upcycle it into something new.
