Architects

An architecutural wireframe drawing

Architects and interior architects rely on us for technically sound, historically informed mosaic layouts.

Geometric tiling demands precision. Proportions, borders, junctions and grout allowances all affect the final result. We regularly refine and develop initial concepts into workable schemes, ensuring patterns are balanced, buildable and appropriate to their architectural context.

Whether specified at the tender stage or introduced mid-project, we provide scaled layout drawings, samples and practical advice to ensure the mosaic element performs as well technically as it does visually.

Interior designers

View through a wide threshold with white painted panelling to the sides. The hallway has a Victorian mosaic pattern in black and white, with green triangles for a border pattern. A large thick wooden side table has two wicker baskets underneath. On top of the table there are several house plants in pots, and above a large mirror with two lights to each side.

Interior design is often an evolving dialogue between personal vision, client preference and the practical realities of a project. We understand that mosaic flooring frequently sits within this creative negotiation.

As a collaborative design partner, we respond with agility. Layouts can be refined, colours adjusted, borders softened or strengthened, proportions reconsidered. Because geometric floors are built component by component, small changes can meaningfully shift the character of a scheme without losing its integrity.

We provide scaled drawings, physical samples and clear costings that allow designers to test ideas and present options with confidence. The relationship is creative, adaptable and supportive - enabling the design to mature while ensuring the final result remains technically sound and beautifully resolved.

Tilers

A low level view across a mosaic tiled hallway. The pattern uses a mix of grey and blue coloured tiles. To the right a white painted staircase rises, and to the right, a black radiator is partly seen. To the rear, an adjoining room has bright sunlight falling on the floor, and open patio doors lead to a garden.

London Mosaic was founded on hands-on restoration and installation. Before supplying tiles, we restored and installed hundreds of geometric floors ourselves. That practical grounding still shapes everything we do.

It was through this experience that we developed our bespoke sheeted mosaic system, an innovative approach designed to support the installer, not complicate their work. We understand the realities of setting out, maintaining alignment, and working efficiently on site.

Our scaled visualisations and layout maps predetermine positioning and orientation, removing uncertainty and significantly accelerating installation time. By resolving the geometry before it reaches the site, we allow tilers to focus on precision and finish rather than problem-solving under pressure.

For specialist Victorian mosaic installers and general tilers alike, we provide dependable supply, practical advice and systems that augment your trade.

Landscapers

An Edwardian style mosaic pathway in red and black tones leads to a stone porch step. To the right and left, Victorian-style rope top edging holds back areas of pebbles. To the left and right there are new areas of planting with small shrubs. To the left and right of the porch step are terracotta pots.

Landscaping businesses operate on planning, sequencing and programme certainty. We understand that tiled pathways and entrances must integrate seamlessly within a broader exterior scheme.

Our clear layout drawings and pre-planned sheeted tile system supports efficient site organisation, reducing setting-out time and accelerating installation. With a dedicated point of contact and fast turnaround on orders, enquiries are handled decisively and materials dispatched promptly.

This structured, responsive approach has led to long-standing relationships and repeat custom from landscaping firms who value reliability, clarity and high-quality heritage tiles that perform in exterior environments.

Contractors

Builders and contractors benefit from our stock depth and structured support.

Our sheeted mosaic service allows intricate patterns to be installed efficiently, keeping programmes on track. We assist with design layouts, sampling, and technical guidance, helping site teams achieve a precise, durable finish.

Commercial projects

Our tiles have been specified for leading brands including Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Boden, Jack Wills, Seasalt and Givenchy.

Manufactured to stringent European standards, our heritage reproduction tile range is specification-ready. With very low porosity (≤ 0.5%), excellent compressive strength and inherent slip resistance, the tiles are well-suited to high-traffic environments and demanding commercial settings.

We source only the highest-quality materials for our designs, ensuring consistency, resilience, and long-term performance.

Hospitality

A restaurant with wooden panelling, and high tables with stools. The floor has an Edwardian style mosaic pattern in brown, yellow and red tones, based around an octagon shape. To the left and rear, the kitchen serving area with lamps hanging above.

Bars, restaurants, cafés and hotels require tiled surfaces that combine character with resilience.

Our tiles offer exceptional strength and very low water absorption, making them suitable for demanding hospitality environments. We regularly collaborate with interior architects and designers to adapt design concepts into technically robust and visually cohesive floor schemes.

Full colour sample pack

32 colours make up our core heritage tile range, reflecting the palette of original Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian floor tiles. Production tiles are 9 mm, fully vitrified porcelain stoneware with colour carried through the body of the tile for consistency and durability.

The full colour sample pack presents the complete range at a 5 mm display thickness for handling and postage, with two shades of white shown at full 9 mm production thickness, typical of the tiles used in our designs and sheeted assembly. Each sample tile is individually labelled, and the full palette is illustrated on the inside of the lid, with a QR code linking to tile shapes, fittings, and technical specifications.

Used as a physical reference for colour matching against existing materials and finishes ahead of specification.
